Half-Elves are quite common because of the integration of humans and elves. Generally a half-elf is at least a quarter elf. A character with less elven blood than that generally looks human and doesn’t exhibit any of the magical qualities typical to half-elves. Some third-generation half-breeds, however, have been known to have pointy ears or jade eyes or good night vision; these are considered humans for all other purposes.
