This is a page for you to discuss PC ideas (use the discussion tab) and for links to character pages for players in the campaign. I've created a link for each player. For now, it leads to a blank page. If you are that person, I encourage you to use it to record and share ideas with me and the rest of the group. Eventually, these pages will contain complete information on your characters.
Jesse and SarahScott plan to play fraternal half-elf twins, the son and daughter of Rusland by his second wife (an elven woman). They'll be in their late teens probably.

General Info
This will be a Balanced Campaign at first and may turn into a Political Campaign after a while (3-4 levels), depending on the players. The Gestalt Characters option is not available.
Check out the "Questions to ask yourself about your character" page for additional guidance.
Party Structure
The player group has agreed to build a troupe of characters that are the "Brady Bunch" sons and daughters of Rusland Pollert Essonay, Andevan (king) of Essonay. After his first (human) wife was killed, Rusland remarried to an elven woman who already had young children of her own to her first husband. Thus, players have the option of playing human, elven, and half-elven characters and yet can be all interrelated. Rusland's eldest child by his first wife is the prince heir-apparent; he is off-limits as a PC.
Players do not have to take roles of princes and princesses. Any character that could plausibly hang around with princes and princesses on a regular basis are okay. Other nobles, court attendants, court mages and advisors, and military officers are all perfect roles.
All characters should be from Essonay. Characters from other kingdoms will have different loyalties and will be hard to fit into the group.
Each character should feel some kind of bond to the group. Loners are not permitted. While the siblings may often argue with each other and have different goals, deep down they love each other. Non-sibling characters should feel a deep respect for the royalty of the family and be loyal to the kids, if not the king himself. A character may feel some kind of annoyance or have a major disagreement with one or two of the other characters but his loyalty to the others should keep his actions in check. For example, a stepbrother might "hate" his stepsister but his love for his other siblings (who love the stepsister) will control his attitudes and actions toward her.
Taking NPCs as Characters
If you see an NPC that you want to play as a PC instead, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Your chances are best if you pick one of the characters of lower power and political importance. For example, I'm not going to let you play the king. I might let you play Kenjur su Lersus, the dracor, though.
Generally, an NPC is available if the NPC can start at or below the average party level (1st level at start) and the NPC does not have some important and pivotal role in society (princes are okay, but kings are not).
